• Can I print and download the content on Bloomsbury CPD for Teachers?

  There are lots of resources to download from the site and use offline, e.g. the Training Plans and the PowerPoints in the ‘Train Others’ section and materials for you to lead an INSET session in your school. The reading material itself is not downloadable but can be read on any device

• What information do I need to set up my school’s account? How long does it take to set up?

  You will need your school details, the names and email addresses of all staff that you would like to have an account, and the name of the staff member who will oversee the accounts of people in your school. We recommend this to be SLT in charge of CPD or a school business manager. The account will take less than 5 working days to set up.

• How do I renew my school's account?

• What browsers are supported?

  Bloomsbury CPD for Teachers has been tested using Internet Explorer (version 10 onwards), Safari (version 6 onwards), and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome, on PC, Mac and mobile operating systems. We will continue to monitor usage from different browsers and platforms and revise our list of actively supported browsers and devices accordingly.

  Yes, the site is responsive, and fully optimised for displaying on a range of tablet and smartphone interfaces. The site has been tested using recent versions of the iPad, iPhone, and Android smartphones and tablets.

• Is there a limit to the amount of users that can use the site at the same time?

  No, access is available on a simultaneous user basis.

• Is there a record of the courses I have done?

  Yes! You can view and print a record of all the courses you have done in your ‘Training record’. You can also add any external training to this for your records.

• How do I find out more about a course before I have started it?

  Each course has an ‘About this course’ module, which will give you more information.

• Can I see the courses that my colleagues are doing?

  Yes! In ‘My Colleagues’, you will be able to see all of the courses that your colleagues have completed. Where the course is in progress, the icon will be greyed out.

• What is my ‘Dashboard’?

  The Dashboard is the central place where all of your learning comes together. From there, you can view and edit your profile and training record, browse content by topic, see the progress you have made, and so much more.

• Who writes your content?

  Our authors are tried and tested experts in their fields, with many years of experience in education. Find out more about them on our authors page.

• I’m the CPD leader in my school. How can I find out which courses the staff have been doing?

  Every school will have a user who is a ‘manager’. They can can see which courses your staff are completing. You can also recommend courses to staff and keep in touch using our Messenger feature.

• What reporting functionality does the site have?

  The manager can generate and export reports for their records on the different activity of the users. For example, who has completed a course or not.

• I’ve changed schools...can I still use Bloomsbury CPD for teachers?
